My Story
I’m a dentist, entrepreneur, husband, and dad to four kids.
Dentistry is what got me started, but over the years, I’ve realized that the work I care most about goes far beyond what happens in the operatory.
Learning to Be an Owner
When I bought my first practice, I knew how to be a dentist.
I didn’t know how to lead a team, build systems, hire well, or make good business decisions.
A lot of those lessons came through mistakes.
Bad hires. Bad contracts. Decisions made out of fear.
Eventually, I stopped trying to avoid mistakes and started treating them as tuition.

Building Hometown Dental Partners
One practice eventually grew into Hometown Dental Partners.
That growth forced me to become a better leader, build stronger systems, understand the numbers, and create teams that could grow without everything depending on me.
I’m still learning as we grow.
Family Comes First
As much as I care about dentistry and business, my family matters more.
I’m a husband and a dad to four kids.
For me, success means building something meaningful while still being present for the people I love.

Why I Share
I don’t have everything figured out.
But I’ve learned a lot through building practices, leading teams, making mistakes, and continuing to grow.
I share what I’m learning because I know other dentists and owners are figuring out many of the same things.
The thing you want isn’t really the point.
It’s who you have to become to build it.
